Anna Sgambato (she/her)

Anna is a graduate of the Masters of Social Work Program at Wilfrid Laurier University and has been a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), for over a decade. She has been working in the mental health field for over 20 years and Anna continues to be curious and inspired by the strength, creativity and resourcefulness of people of all ages, who experience life challenges related to trauma, loss and oppression because of race, culture, different learning abilities, spirituality, gender expression and sexuality. In recent years, Anna’s approach has been informed by her experience and training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion-Focussed Family Therapy, mindfulness and client-centred, psychodynamic therapy. Anna’s therapeutic style is warm, collaborative and authentic, while supporting people to feel connected with their values and energized.
